It’s been an electro year. In fact, it’s been pretty much a Dragonette and Prodigy year.
No idea of the truth of this stuff and I really ought to give up on it now. But something about it has made me uneasy right from the off, so I’m willing to give conspiracy theories the time of day.

As a Forest fan this makes me sad.
This doesn’t match what the BBC was saying yesterday: flight crews were being cut to 13 staff per long-haul flight and the union had already offered to cut pay by a third but BA said it wasn’t enough. So was yesterday’s report all wrong?
Via Kieron Donoghue who also makes a very good point about Rage against the Machine.
No idea if it’s true or not, but it sounds plausible.
You know what?
People watch X-Factor in their millions because they like it.
People buy Simon Cowell’s records in their millions because they like them.
How many people bought Rage against the Machine’s records? Noone did because no fucker liked it.
The charts are a very simple system - people buy stuff, then every week, record sales are placed in descending order. Very hard to game because it’s a simple list of transactions, grouped by quantity.
Stop whining about “people being idiots” - humans aren’t idiots; they are busy, disorganised, in a hurry, not thinking straight, distracted but not idiots.
You’re just sore because most people like something you don’t and you’re in a fucking minority. So put the Facebook group down and do something more interesting, you whiny bastard.
